Program Purpose
Care begins with a governing understanding of the person.
The CMHP certificate approaches helping practice through the conviction that human beings possess God-given dignity, purpose, moral agency, relational need, and a capacity for formation. Students learn to join spiritual understanding with ethical discipline, careful listening, sound boundaries, and responsible action.
The program is designed for ministry leaders, coaches, community servants, helping professionals, and others seeking a rigorous faith-informed foundation for non-clinical care and appropriate collaboration with licensed professionals.
Professional scope
This certificate is educational preparation and does not, by itself, confer a state-issued mental-health license. Students remain responsible for applicable laws, credential requirements, professional boundaries, and referral obligations in their jurisdiction.

Fifteen chapter lessons
Study the curriculum’s pathology and woundedness frameworks, relationship model, practical tools, and ethics through chapter teaching and written application.
Ten required exams
Complete the program’s ten exam checkpoints. The college provides the official exam sequence, passing requirements, and assessment policies with enrollment materials.
Two weeks of application
Document twenty contact hours and ten hours of structured supervision separately. Complete required practicum records and supervisor evaluations.
College review
Completion requires verification of academic work, exams, practicum documentation, and supervisor approval. Tuition payment alone does not issue the credential.
